Geilenkirchen Christmas Market

The Geilenkirchen Christmas market was this weekend. It was beautiful most of Saturday, but decided to be cold and rainy on Sunday. Booooo! We went to the GK Christmas market anyway, and it was really nice. There were some very nice booths, but the weather didn't encourage us to spend very much time looking around. They also had some great rides for kids, but with the rain the seats were all wet and cold so we didn't take advantage. So, we spent most of our time hanging out at the Bocadillo booth enjoying some delicious food (Crepes, Renee!), warm drinks and great company. They had an awning that helped keep us dry as well. :) During dry spells, Christian enjoyed running around with Leona. He also had VIP seats INSIDE the booth eating lots of chocolate - including a baby chocolate crepe. For such foul weather, we ended up having a great time! We went to Schinnen after that to get a Christmas tree, but no luck. They were sold out. We'll continue that search this week. Oh, and we watched Shrek 3 today. If any of you haven't seen it, it was very funny. I recommend it. :)

the poor boy can't pick anything up!)
