Grammy and PawPaw in Paris

We drove to Mons yesterday, and continued into Paris this morning to meet Mr. and Mrs. Jackson. They were there as part of a tour group that continued on to London, and today was their free day in Paris. Every day Christian pretends to talk to PawPaw on the telephone, so it was exciting to take him to see his grandparents in person. :) We got to spend the whole day together!

Grammy and PawPaw met us at the car when we arrived. Christian was so excited to see his grandparents! He recognized them right away.

Our first stop was lunch and this little Greek restaurant. Christian is really excited about trains, so he enjoyed the metro ride to get here.

This is Johnnie (PawPaw) just outside of Sacre Coeur. Isn't it a beautiful view?! We sat inside for a bit while Christian fell asleep. It was really peaceful. Cliff was in constant threat of being shushed by the guy that monitored guest behavior, but made it out without being singled out. After that we meandered through the artist colony area.

Christian woke up from his nap surrounded by loving faces, and I'm sure wondering where he was.

PawPaw took him to look at a tour train.

A ride on the carousel. After the carousel we ran into the Jacksons' tour group, so it was fun meeting everyone.

Off to the Arc D'Triumph, where it was really cold and windy

We went to another Greek restaurant for dinner. It was a very lively and fun atmosphere, with live music. This is everyone playing with the train before our food arrived.

The train excitement continues on the other side of the table.

Cliff and his daddy. :)

Cliff and Mini Me. Cliff's parents tease him, because they see him in this brown striped shirt a lot. So much so, that they bought him another brown striped shirt as a gift. We dressed Christian in the same shirt as a joke, but aren't they cute?

Christian fell asleep on Cliff's lap.

He even slept through the loud music and demonstrations that Cliff is standing near. A man carried a table and danced with it in his mouth (with and without people on top of it), and did some balloon popping dances. It was fascinating.

Ha! I went to a Greek Festival in Austin last year, & a guy there danced while balancing a table w/ & w/o people on top! Very strange tradition... Good pics! Looks like Paris was a good time. See you soon!!
