Until this morning, I didn't know that Christian had the concept of counting, or that he recognized that anything other than 2 was a number. He has still never said "one". He always jumps to two when we try to get him to say one.
So, this morning shortly after 6 Christian thought it was a great time to wake up for the day. I disagreed. As a compromise I brought him back to bed with me until a more reasonable hour. He wasn't tired, so he kept moving around, playing with the pillows, and talking to himself. While he was laying there talking to himself, he counted! He said "two, three, five, six, eight, ten". He missed a few numbers, but the few he said were even in order. :) I was very excited so I thought I'd share. It was very sweet.

Keep the stories coming. You know we grandparents are eager for any kind of news regardless of how routine it may be. Sounds like we have a mathematician in the family (takes after his mom and Papa, I am sure.) Look for a surprise inn your Birthday/Easter package when it gets there.
Awesome! What's really cool is that he's practicing while you're semi-sound asleep. heehee
